1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible Only 15,721 miles on the engine , have original paperwork including original sale receipt from marietta , georgia Drives great and just like it did back in 72' this is a great car especially for those mercury enthusiasts who love these collector cars Such a classic car and it should continue to increase in value...Starts and runs great... Rides very smooth...Definitely a big head turner due to the fact that they are hard to find..Original made in dearborn , michigan. It has a very powerful 351 cleveland with the original motorcraft 2 barrel carburetor... Automatic transmission...Very much original equipment Alot of things replaced on this classic car Exterior 1. Brand new firestone firehawk indy 500 tires with uni-t package - replaced in September 20102. Brand new ignition coil for the engine - replaced in September 20103. Oil changed and replaced filter with quaker state high mileage oil and bosh oil filter - replaced in September 20104. Flushed old antifreeze and replaced with brand new prestone 50/50 fluid - replaced in September 2010 5. Upper and lower radiator hoses replaced with brand new dayco upper and lower radiator hoses - replaced in September 20106. V-belts replaced with brand new dayco v-belts - replaced September 20107.
