Vehicle Detail

Hello, you are looking at a 1952 M38 and an additonal parts M38 year unknown. The bodied M38 has a professionally rebuilt motor, professinally rebuilt axles with 5.38 gears, complete new floor, new cowl assembly and many other new parts listed below. I do not know the mileage or have a title for the either of the Jeeps but a bill of sale will be given at the end of the sale. Please look at the photo's, many of the original parts are still useable and are included in the sale, if you need a closer photo of any item please let me know. The 2 available windsheild frames come with no glass and will need some very minor work to be complete, I do have the original generators, voltage regulators and battery boxes but they will need some work, I also have the original spare tire carrier, Tailgate ( no rust, not pictured), antenna mount and TOP BOW Assembly. The 1952 M38 has 16" wheels however they will need some welding repair around the valve stems as rust has created some holes. The spare M38 has 15" wheels I have at least $9000 invested in these jeeps and I have set the reserve price very low. I have also a new Black Best Top Kit and has only been installed to position the snaps, the top was then stored inside. I am selling because I have to many projects and not enough time to finish this project. The 52 M38 has been painted with Acrylic urathane Charcoal grey metallic, the paint is not perfect and it does have some new scratches on it from test fitting parts, ( I was going to sand it back down and paint it Olive like it was supposed to be later), there is absolutly no rust on the body not even in the tool box. The frame was slightly pitted when I received it, I had it sandblasted and coated with 2 coats of POR15 products. I have all the receipts for all work done and for all parts purchased that will be included with the sale, I also have all the manuals. Below you will find a listing of all the new parts for the 52 M38 as well as a list of useable parts for the spare M38, if you need more information I will be glad to answer any questions, NEW PARTS FOR 1952 M38: 1) Complete rebuilt engine 23) Best Top w/doors (black) 46) Steering Wheel 2) Complete Wiring Harness 24) Data Plate set Complete 47) Seat Cushions (6x) 3) Rebuilt front axle 5.38 gears 25) Spare parts Manual 48) Seat Covers (6x) Grey 4) Rebuilt rear axle (NEW)5.38 gears 26) Engine & clutch Manual 49) Carb Crossover tube & hoses 5) Rear springs 27) Powertrain, Body & Frame Man. 50) Shovel 6) Front Springs 28) Operating Manual 51) AXE 7) Complete Floor Pan 29) Headlight switch assembly 52) Shovel & Axe mounting Kit 8) Hood 30) Slave Cable assembly 53) Cowl Rubber 9) Rear Seat Frame 31) Slave Cable Bracket 54) Winsheild Rubber 10) Driver Seat Frame 32) Front Black out light 55) Radiator Hoses 2x 11) Clutch Kit 33) B/O light Holder & Guard 56) Jerry Can strap Kit (black) 12) Exhaust System 34) Water Pump 57) Top Bow storage strap Kit (black) 13) Waterproof Spark plug wires 35) Reflectors (4x) 58) Windsheild hold down kit (black) 14) Gas Tank w/ sending unit 36) Gas Tank Cap 59) Hood Blocks 15) 4x ProComp shocks w/ gray boots 37) Gas tank body grommet 60) 4x U-Joints 16) Pintle Hook 38) Head Light Seals 61) Head Bolt Kit 17) Front Shackle Kit 39) Head Light Guards 62) Fording Valves (2x) 18) Brake Lines 40) Rear tail Lights (amber lenses) 63) Fording cable 19) Tie rod ends 41) 4x King pin assemblies 64) Jerry Can Holder 20) Rear Crossmember 42) Knuckle seals (4x) 65) Front Bumper 21) 2x rear Bumperettes 43) Wheel Cylinders (rear) 22) Glove box Lid 44) Glove box Pushbutton USEABLE SPARE M38 PARTS: I do not know much about this spare M38, a friend of mine had it and accqired it with some other Jeeps. The body was totally shot, I removed the parts that I needed saved the Data plates which have a serial number listed and what you see in the photos. I do not know if the engine turns over since someone has stripped the front crankshaft nut, however there seem to be many useable parts on the engine as well as what is listed below. 3 of the 4 tires hold air and have lots of tread but they are dry rotting. I do not know anything about the transmission of the spare jeep except for it sticks sometimes when I try to shift it into gear before pulling it. 1) Hood 4) Axels 7) Glove Box Door 2) Grille 5) Wheels 8) Pintle Hook 3) Frame 6) Lifting hooks 3x 9) Black out light w/ Guard & Holder
