Vehicle Detail

For Sale: 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL, 3.5L engine with 138,605 miles. There have been two owners, myself and my father. Title is clean. This car has no problems starting or running and has almost new tires. Includes leather seats, sunroof, CD player, cruise control, steering wheel touch controls, and keyless remote locks. Traction control system is great in snowy conditions. Some of the good things to note: Tires - Continental ProContact with EcoPlus (all-season), only 3,000 miles on them (paid $460). Brakes - Front pads and rotors only have 6,000 miles on them. Rear brake pads are fine for now but should be replaced in the near future. Battery is only 1 year old. Water pump replaced recently, no leaks in cooling system. This vehicle has had regular oil changes every 3000 - 5000 miles. I am also happy to tell you everything I can think of that is wrong with the car. I do not want there to be any surprises for you as the buyer... Exterior: The left rear tire needs to be resealed with the rim, there seems to be a very slow leak (still driveable) Scratch on right rear passenger door from family member who backed into a mailbox. Some not very noticeable dings due to hail. Mechanical: The engine burns oil, I have consistently been adding about 1 quart every 1,000 miles. The shocks are weak. Mechanic told me that the A/C compressor is going, but I never had any problems with the A/C. Interior: If the car is left parked outside during extremely heavy rains, water sometimes leaks under the dash and gets the front passenger floormat wet. There is a loud squeaking sound about 1 out of every 10 times that you turn the heat or A/C on. If you play with the blower fan speed a little bit, it will go away. I am selling this car as-is, no warranty. There is no reserve price, and the buyer must pay in cash. Thanks for looking, and please let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to tell you anything about the car. On Feb-10-11 at 17:33:58 PST, seller added the following information: EDIT: I've noticed that both left side tires seem to slowly lose air, not just the left rear. I would emphasize that the air loss is slow and the car is absolutely driveable, but you should be aware. I suspect that it is a problem with the way the tires are sealed, since the tires have very few miles on them. Thanks.
