Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a RARE 1972 Gran Torino. This car is a N code 429 cu. Motor is new with less than 500 miles. Motor specs: Engine professionally builtBored 30 overAluminum Edelbrock Performer HeadsSolid Roller Comp Cam Part # 30-000-9 Forged Flat Top PistonsRoller RockersEdelbrock Performer RPM Intake780 cfm quick fuel 4-barrel carburetorAluminum racing water pumpSummit high fire ignition or HEI (you get both) Summit Electric Fan Hooker Super Competition Headers The motor has been balancedNew C6 automatic transmission2200 rpm stall converter9 in Ford Rear End This car has been 75% restored. The chassis has been cleaned and painted. The front and rear suspension has new polyurethane bushings. Also has coil-over shocks in the rear. It has new vintage 15X10 chrome reverse wheels with moon center caps. The tires are brand new 275/60/15 Goodyear Eagle GTS. The front and rear seats in the car are in good shape. I will also throw in Sport front bucket seats, rear seat and center console. However, these seats will need to be re-upholstered if you choose to install them. I also have the A/C compressor to go with the car. I have the original 4-barrel heads and intake that will also go with the car. I also have receipts for parts purchased for engine and chassis build. Body is solid and in good condition. There is LIGHT rust under the trunk lid area approximately 6" X 3" and two quarter-sized rust spots on door panel. It also has a small area behind each rear tire on quarter panels that has bondo. The passenger side rear floor pan has a small area of rust, but the rest of the floor pan is in good condition. The car was baby blue when I bought it. The original color is white. This car runs and drives great. All it needs is a good paint job and a little interior work. It will not cost much to finish the restoration. The only reason I am selling this rare find is because I have too many other projects going and do not have the time needed to dedicate to it. I have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time, if sold. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hrs after the bidding ends. The balance is due at pickup by Certified Check or Cash. Pick up only. No shipping. I am a dealer. Therefore, I can issue a 30 day tag, if needed. I will be happy to answer any questions. Good luck bidding on this rare find.
