hi,up for your sale is a 1973 dodge challenger.it has a 440 motor in it and it is worked! has a 509 cam in it. motor came out of a 1968 roadrunner. has 120100 miles on the body but only 95 miles on the rebuilt motor!!!.this car is not a numbers matching car.this car is for someone who just wants to jump in it and have some fun in the summertime.car is not perfect and will need some attention.all the panels are original.the drivers floor has been patched but it will need to be done again if you want it to look like factory.the trunk is fine except for the trunk extension will need to be replaced at some point. the seat covers will need to be replaced as well as the carpet. the drivers quarter has a little rust by the lower wheel well. car has brand new 3 inch pipes with flow masters. has a 727 trans with manual valve body.once again, this is not a show car.i have had alot of idiots come here and nit pick at stupid things that they think is wrong with the car.i had one idiot come all the way from upstate new york with a car trailer and decided to pass on the car just because the car needed stupid minor things like "carpet,seat covers,and paint!!!..this car is very presentable and is not a eye sight by no means. the car still has the original paint which is the richard petty blue. the car does need to be painted again due to the age of the car. anyone is more than welcome to come see the car but please no tire kickers looking to buy a barrett jackson car! i will also give the winner of this auction a 440 six pack set up if the reserve price is met.. i have the three carbs and the linkage.im looking for a 68,69,70 roadrunner.or gtx,cuda, 67,68,69 chevelles or 67,68,69 camaros. call me at 732-534-7662. thanx and good luck.On Feb-01-11 at 21:48:35 PST, seller added the following information: hi,for all those who wanted to know about the gas cap on the challenger,yes it is a flip cap. the chrome is excellent and opens and close fine.plus all the lights,wipers,radio,seatbelt buzzer,key buzzer,blinkers all work fine.i had this car on the road and its all legal.
