Up for sale is a 1982 FJ40 right side drive (NOT 1980 as listed). Originally from New Zealand, imported into North Carolina and then brought to Ohio. Ebay does not recognize the vin# and the state of Ohio also added a few letters to fit their system requirements. All numbers on frame and motor match. This 40 turns heads everywhere, even pulled over by the police just so the officer could look at the truck. 118k miles or 191k km. Other than pulling the truck into the driveway to take pictures it has never seen snow, I don't even drive it in the rain. It is the family weekend car that goes to soccer games and ice cream. New tires, new marine vinyl interior including the rear jump seats, new head-liner and visor covers, new chrome hood latches, complete tune-up in late summer 2010. Has original rear step which is impossible to find and all interior knobs and switches are in tact and working. There are NO issues with this truck at all. It starts on the fisrts try every time and runs perfect. No leaks, funny noises or smells. I am listing the truck locally so I may end the auction early if needed. THANK YOU!
