1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL You are bidding on a nice running and driving 76 450SL. These SL Mercedes are one of the most recognizable luxury convertibles by one of the most respected car companies in the world. Nothing says style and class like a Mercedes Benz. Manufactured for almost two full decades, between 1971 and 1989, Mercedes' highly regarded type R107 SL Roadster has made history in a big way. Being an advanced design, it still looks contemporary today and holds the place of honor as the most successful open-air motorcar ever built by Mercedes Benz. This is an inexpensive Classic Mercedes that will get your foot into the Classic Car market with top down fun at an affordable price. This car is in good condition. The underside is solid. She has had one repaint. The hard top is in good shape. It will need the weather strips replaced. The soft top is original and will need to be replaced. The bumpers are original and both have small dings in them. The seats are in good shape. The carpet is original and good. The one rear carpet piece is missing. The dash pad is in good shape. The door panels are wrinkled on the bottom. The center wood is in OK shape. It needs some small stuff like the handle for the ashtray and glove box liner is missing and probably a couple other minor cosmetic things. She has an Alpine CDM 7854 AM/FM/CD stereo with Power Bass speakers mounted on the rear shelf. The trunk is in good shape. She has power windows, power mirrors. It does have factory air conditioning. It may need a recharge. The engine runs well and smooth. The transmission shifts nice. The suspension rides well. She has recently installed Dunlop Sport Signature 205/65/15 tires. The power steering and power brakes work well. The PS has a small minor leak and needs fluid every month or so. It goes down the road well and actually drives nice. The speedometer and clock do not work. Overall, this is a good running and driving car that you can have some fun with, drive it for a while as is. Dow the road do some small detail things to bring it up another level and you’re cruising a classic Mercedes Benz in style! You know you want it, just hit the “Buy it Now”. DON’T PASS THIS ONE BY!
