This is a 2002 Accord I bought used 3 years ago from a Lexus dealer in Ft. Worth. I have put about 35k miles on it. No issues whatsoever except air conditioner condenser, which I replaced summer of 2009, and replaced front brake pads. I drove the car into a bar ditch in the Spring of 2008 on a slick road and the front bumper fell off. The car had to be towed. The tow truck driver stepped on the hood. There was no damage that I could see except cosmetic dings and right CV boot torn, so I had the CV joint replaced, bought a bumper on E-bay, bolted it on, and kept driving. Since then it has driven fine. This car has the seat-mounted side airbags and also has traction control. When I bought it I was told that the timing belt and water pump had just been changed by Honda (I believe Honda of Abilene or Honda of San Angelo). I called them at that time and confirmed that the work had been done and they (Honda dealer out there) told me it had been. When I bought it, this car had an extra clean interior (still nice, see photos) but a second-rate paint job over the OEM paint. That explains a lot of the flaking paint you see in photos. The only issues I know of are: missing front rubber wheel wells (see photos, I never missed 'em), the CD player doesn't work (radio works fine), replacement front bumper, after market paint job, and peeling tint. As far as I know this is the original everything except what I stated. Rear tires are newish Bridgestones (about 12k since new I believe) and front tires are newish Rikkens (probably close to 20k miles)... plenty of tread left. This car has the V6. It is great on gas, and that is why I drive it rather than my pickup as a daily drive. The only reason I'm selling is I bought a newer, prettier used Accord. They are hard to beat. If you are looking for car that looks great on the outside this is not your car. It has been clean and reliable transportation for me but it's not pretty so please don't bid if you are just going to show up and say the exterior has dents/dings/flaking paint/stained paint/no front wheel wells/peeling tint. It does have those things and they are disclosed. See the photos. Interior is very clean, original floor mats under the gray rubber mats. No cracking, etc. This car will be sold in Cameron, Texas (30 miles east of Temple or 75 miles northeast of Austin). I require a cashiers check and paypal deposit. I will NOT ship this car to you and will not accept personal checks, W.U., trades, 3rd party checks, or anything else related to common scams. If you want more photos or want to see before you bid, please email and arrange it with me. If you really want to come out and test drive you can do that and you are encouraged to do so. I will not end the auction early and will not violate Ebay policies so please don't ask. The car will be driven locally between now and end of auction, so mileage could go up slightly (no more than a couple of hundred miles at most).
