1950 Mercury 4 Door, let me start out by saying that i have only had this car for about a month now, their was a collection in my town that went up for sale because the owners were having problems and i wanted one of the cars in the collection and in order to get the one i had to buy them all, and this is not the one i wanted so im selling the car. Let me say that this is an amazing car, and is going to make a great car for the next owner to enjoy, the car was an actual a past AACA 1st place winner from back in the 90's, the car has actually been done since the late 80's or early 90's, so well at 20 years, and is showing amazing for its age, their are a couple little issues, but they can be taken car of, the car could use a little detail work on the engine to get it back to standards for AACA, and their is one or two little paint issues, nothing major and they can be fixed with no problems, i have already had them looked at, the only reason the car has these little problems is that the car has sat untouched for about 6 to 9 months while the last owners were going through their problems, but once i got it i have gotten it back up to where it should be without taking the time to detail the motor and fix the little paint issues, if those were taken care of their should be no problem the car could be returned back to its former state of taking first at any and all shows, but these issues really dont need to be fixed if you want a amazing show/driver but if you want that really great show queen, like this one used to be, well then you will need to fix them. As far as the drivetrain of the car, the car runs amazing, i have personally driven the car and it drives just like it should with no problems, and as far as i know everthing works on the car with no problems. This is really going to make someone an amazing car that they will truely enjoy. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off. The car is sold as is with no warrenty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auction end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangments are made for the car to be shipped.
