For sale is a 1971 Volkswagen Dune Buggy. The body style is the Jackal. The Jackal was designed by a a former employee of the Deserter. The body was identical on the fender lines. The length was designed to be on a full size VW chassis. The bodies were built in New Jersey where the motor vehicle laws strict. The nose needed a flat spot for the New Jersey front license plate. The rear also needed the engine to be covered to be legal. The large box covered the engine. This car needs restoration and is not perfect. The engine is installed and most likely runs but the fuel lines are not hooked up. The dash needs repair and the seats need to be replaced. The car has a 1600cc dual port engine. The tires are in excellent condition. The car also has a tow bar and a Hurst Shifter.
