I am proudly selling my 84,495 original mile 1976 911S Targa. I an the third owner of this vehicle. The prior owner to me had the car for 27 years. He used the car only in fair weather and was an active participant in porsche club events with this vehicle. It was never left out in the sun, and was garaged it's whole life. I used the car for weekend fun and local car shows. This is the tightest best driving 911 that I have ever driven. I would think that it as close to what a brand new 1976 911 would drive like. I come from a family of multiple classic porsche owners and they all say that this car is a jewel. The reason I am selling is to fund my vintage racing habit. Interior- The interior of the vehicle I have on offer is in fantastic original condition. All gauges, switches, and lights are in great condition with no sun fading like you may see from a targa. The carpet in the trunk area is in perfect condition with no staining or tears. Seats, door panels, dash, carpet, are all in spectacular original condition. Paint- The paint is in fantastic original condition with no rust anywhere. It has a few rock chips on the lower valance in front. The paint is a beautiful deep shade of black. Engine- The engine has a total of 84,495 miles on it including the chassis. The engine was out 2,000 miles ago for freshening and to repair an oil leak. Transmission- The transmission shifts great cold and warm with no grinding up or down. When the engine was out a new clutch was installed. trim and wheels- All exterior trim and wheels are in great original condition with no wear. The vehicle has pirelli tires with 80% treadlife left. This vehicle shows extremely well with no stories. Just an amazing early 911 that has been cherished by porsche people its whole life.
