Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1962 Pontiac Catalina 4 door sedan. The previous owner did a PHS documentation on this car. I dont know why anybody would do that, maybe he wanted to make sure it was a real 4 door and not a clone? Anyway, it has the original 389 two barrel, automatic 3 speed transmission, power steering and power brakes. It is all original under the hood and has has a recent tuneup. It has also had recent brake work and the brakes work great. It has a very nice quiet dual exhaust. The car runs and drives very smooth I would drive it anywhere (the heat works great). It has new Goodyear tires with new valve stems and balanced, the wheels have been sandblasted and painted to match the car. The body is very straight and solid, the paint is very nice not high dollar show car but nice( it's a 4 door). The floors are perfect, there is no carpet so you can see it all. The trunk has very little rust (very strong) It will need interior work it's all there but in bad shape. All the trim and chrome on the exterior is in nice clean original shape with the exception of the bumpers, although they shine in most areas they have some pitting in others and will need replating to be perfect or drive it as is. The only thing that is missing is the T out of the PONTIAC on the rear panel and I am missing the lock cylinder for the trunk. I have the clip that holds it in and the cylinders are on ebay all the time for just a few bucks. The most important thing is the clip. Gas gauge dosen't work it goes to full as soon as you turn the key on. I will check the ground this week that is usually the problem when it does that. The turn signals are inop also.
