ALL STEEL 1926 Model T Roadster. This is the REAL DEAL. Magazine feature car!!! I must regretably sell this car to be able to build another . It breaks my heart to do it but I have no choice. If it does not sell it I will keep it and continue to enjoy it. This car was built by a gentleman in N.C as his own personal ride. He passed away along with many of the details on the build.It is EXTREMELY well built. I will do my best to pass along what I know. If you have any questions please email me: qm2sw@aol.com I will do my best to answer them for you. BODY: Genuine Ford steel Roaster body (not a cut down touring car) Functioning doors on both sides. CHASSIS: Model A frame that has been boxed and z-d front and rear. This car has a terrific stance and profile. It has a 4" drop tube axle up front with early ford drum brakes. The rear is a 57 Chevy. The rear is a "poor mans" POSI (welded spider gears) It works real well. Original Model A headlights. Chrome reverse wheels front and rear from Ralley America. Firestone whitewalls up front and new Hurst cheater slicks in the rear DRIVETRAIN: 1965 Buick 300. It was rebuilt but I don't have the specifics. I did pull the heads to do both head gasgets and it is imaculate inside. The valves are clean and thier is not ring ridge.Edelbrock 4bbl carb and nice finned aluminum valve covers.The trans is a Buick ST-300 (same as a Chevy Powerglide) and has a Gennie shifter.It has a nice thick aluminum radiator. I believe it is a Walker but I'm not for sure. INTERIOR: Beautiful pearl white pleated seat and black carpet. Their is a temp and oil pressure guage along with a Moon short sweep tach. This is one SWEET AND SEXY car. It is fast and nimlbe and an absolute blast to drive. It was featured in the November 2010 issue of Hotrod Deluxe maxazine. Whoever ends up with it will get alot of enjoyment (not to mention attention) from it. I honstly belive this car is worth ALOT more than the no reserve starting price but I need to move it quickly. This car is not 100% perfect. I pride my self on being honest so I will tell you the small issues it has. Thier is a little slop on the steering box. This car tracks straight and true but does wonder a little bit. Not a big deal but I wanted to be up front. I have another 32-34 steering box and all the new internals to rebuild it. Also the chrome is chipping on te top of the windshield frame. The carb has a machinical choke that is not hooked up but once wamed it is perfectly fine. None of these are serious issues by any means. But like I said I want to be honest This car does not have a title. Connecticut does not issue titles for ane vehicles older than 1981. it will come with a Connecticut DMV bill of sale. It is registered and insured as a 1926 Ford. Shipping is up to you but I will do everything I can to make sure I am available to assist the shipper if need be. This time of year I would Highly suggest a enclosed trailer.
