A yellow 76 400 F recently sold here on ebay for $4900! A very nice bike. You can own this one for less than 1/2 of that! Low reserve....don't ask as you will know when it has been met. NO Buy It Now, due to the scammers who quickly use Buy It Now's with no intention of paying and they just ruin auctions. Here is a nice 400 F with new paint, new tire, new chain and some maintenance making this bike an affordable Classic 400 F you can ride and enjoy! So many of these have left our country or are sitting in collections, that they are getting harder and harder to find, and bringing the price up due to supply and demand. With many classic cars of the past selling right now at Barrett-Jackson in Arizona for many, many times over their price when new (67 Corvette that was $5000 new sold yesterday for over $200,000 and was a beautiful unrestored car) make these old bikes a classic, affordable investment you can ride, enjoy and improve as you go with a good chance you won't loose money! Hit the electric start button and this bike just purrs thru it's original, quiet factory exhaust. The 36 year old vinyl seat cover show a few seam splits. New covers can be purchased here on ebay for around $60 and are easily installed. Bike shows very good with no rust on frame and I would have taken photos outside for better quality, but we are having a cold, snowy/icy day here in Grand Rapids, Mi. Exhaust is quiet, chrome is very nice with original handlebars and controls. Side stand has been removed so this is a center stand only bike. Horn is also missing as assume it went bad and no one replaced it. I suggest checking on uship.com for shipping rates to you as there are very competitive haulers that bid for your move and you can list to get quotes without having to commit to their bid or to buying my bike. I can offer enclosed delivery within 300 miles or so of Grand Rapids for $1.00 mile one way.
