We do this to keep the bidding honest. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Does it come in black.... You are bidding on an AMAZING 2004 Ford Crown Victoria P71 unmarked unit finished  in beautiful Ford Tuxedo Black. This is not typical boring black, it is an enigmatic metallic black and looks all different shades of black/gunmetal depending on the light.  It looks like something Batman would drive so we are dubbing it the "Bruce Wayne  Edition" It is incredible and our favorite color. Pictures speak a thousand words. This particular unit is fresh out of service with a Central Florida Government agency. 100% Florida car RUST FREE. This was a 1 driver car, never used to transport prisoners, the back seats are cloth like the front, the floor is carpet not vinyl. It was an unmarked undercover unit, had 2 antennas, a flush mounted exterior rear window stealth light bar  and a mean looking gun rack on the back ceiling. This was not a typical patrol unit. It shows in the mileage and condition. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. Everything works  as it should. Motor is strong, transmission shift smooth. Runs and drives fine.  Cold A/C Power windows, locks. All power accessories work as intended. Rear  doors are fully operational. As with all our vehicles we drove this one for a  week or so and noted no issues. The interior is VERY CLEAN. There are no holes  on the dash the seats all look brand new. eBay wants the car to have power seats  for some reason and would not let us check off that feature. It does not have  them. The exterior looks factory fresh like all our cars do . The tires are Police Eagle RSA with about 75% life left. The trunk has a custom police shelf installed that comes in VERY handy.  Full sized spare Tint is brand new. Spotlight works. What's the little red  button next under the headlight switch? Thats a police aftermarket feature  called Safety Idle. Basically you push it while the car is running and you can  take the key out, lock the door and the vehicle will stay running for all your  lights, cameras and other cop goodies. The car is 100% ready to go, very intimidating and fun to drive. Now a bit of history; 2004 and newer P71's are the years to have. They are the fastest Crown Victoria's produced due to many changes in the intake system. The P71 went from 239HP to 250HP in 2004 due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake system. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. Also the 2004 was also the last year to use the mechanical throttle linkage, in 2005 it went to electronic throttle making 0-60 mph times considerably slower. In short, a 2004 is much quicker and will run circles around any previous, or later model year Police Interceptors. The 2004 is considered the "Best Year P71" look it up and do your research. It is set to be the most collectable and sought after once P71's are done in 2011. We listed this cars identical brother last Month, it was 1 digits off on the  VIN number off the Ford production line. We ended the listing 4 days later for  the buy it now price. 80% of our listing end early because someone makes us an  offer. Here is a CHERRY ONE! Do not pass it up! There is a small sized ding  that is only visible at certain angles on the top middle of the drivers side  fender, we tried to get it in the pictures. As stated above there was a stealth light bar as well as two antennas which left a 3/4" hole on the roof  (slight ding next to it where it seems someone or something tried to bend/pull  on the antenna) and a 1/2 hole on the trunk lid. Both are capped  and sealed. The drivers seat has a small discolored portion on the right  lower portion where it came in contact with metal on the police console.  Everything is pictured. Minor things but they are there so we like to inform so there are no surprises. The history report lists 2 accidents, both had NO DAMAGE  reported. We looked into the reports and in fact they wouldn't really be  considered accidents by many peoples standards. Like most vehicles I've received  from this particular agency, this one has accidents reported. This agency is  ABSOLUTELY meticulous at reporting about every single traffic altercation no  matter what. Small bump while backing out of a spot... reported. Bump while  parallel parking... reported. As a government agency you cannot afford to have  someone come sue you months later because of an incident and have it turn out it  was never reported. So they do EVERY TIME. We fully inspected the vehicle and  all body panels are original with matching vin numbers. There are absolutely no  signs of damage anywhere.
