This is a 1952 Willys pickup, that came from Colorado. The body and frame had no rust holes at all, just many dents and some drilled holes in the bed, where things were mounted. So when we painted it, it did get some bondo for some of the dents and some wel in some drilled holes. This truck hassom mismatch parts from a 1960 willys, that include, the engine ( the 226 6 cylinder hurricane), and the front grill, other than that it is all 1952. It has new paint everwhere, as it was taken completely apart. All new original style wire harness, voltage reg. new seat cover, new carpet, new recored radiator, engine and tranny had new seals and gaskets, new oil pump, new clutch and flywheel and throwout bearing, new timing gears and chain, new plastic gas tank, w/fuel pickup, new u joints and shackles, new fuel lines and brake lines. All new tires and rims. new dual resivior brake cylinder. Lots of new emblems and new mirrors, new windshield, and gaskets in widows and doors. new tailgate chains, and bed has a roll on bedliner. New lights all around. I have $1000 into all the rechroming alone. I am sure there is mutch more that I am missing. The truck needs a new passanger door handle, and the amp and fuel gage don't work. I swicthed the whole truck over to 12 volts, because of the 6 cylinder engine, and installed a voltage reducer for the gages, but they don't work. Truck runs good but does smoke a little when reved up. The truck is not a show winner because I didn't take out all the dent when I painted it, but it is very nice. If your looking to go fast, this is not for you. Top speed is between 45 and 50. Don't bid if you don't want it, Feel free to come by to look if you are local.
