1999 F150 4X4 V-8 5spd. NO RESERVE Details: This truck has 197,000 miles. I bought it new. This is a hard to find 4x4 4.6L V8 stick transmission with the XLT package. Most standard transmission vehicles are 2wd and V6 and tend to be work trucks. This truck has some nice options like the 3.55 limited slip axle, 16” alloy wheels, towing package, brake controller. This truck is easy to drive and goes where you point it. It has a low 4x4 range, lockable truck box and trailer towing package with a 2” ball/pintle hitch combo. It has no vibrations and does not leak anything. The rear vibrates, it needs to be repaired or replaced. No parts are missing, with a new rear, this truck is ready to go. 197,000 miles Bedliner Towing package with Reese hitch and combination 2” ball and pintle hitch. The company is for sale and this truck is being sold separately. This truck was the owner’s truck, it was run unloaded most of the time. It needs a new rear, the bearings are going in it. The engine has never overheated, in fact it never runs any hotter than normal. I have kept up with the maintenance. The oil has been changed every 5,000 miles, and the radiator, brakes, trans and transfer case have been changed. Now it needs a rear, and likely a new battery. Other than that, this truck is ready to work. The hoses, belts, axle, etc are all in good shape. The frame is straight and has never had a repair. There is reasonable tread left on the tires and on the brakes. The Good: This truck drives straight, has never been in a wreck, and has minimal dents and rust, see pics. I have maintained it since new. The engine has never had a mechanical problem other than maintenance. The truck is drivable, but will need a new rear soon. That is why I am selling it. The A/C works well. The check engine light does not come on. The Bad: Now for the bad. If you see this truck you will get a good idea of how honest I am. I don’t want to have a buyer come and not know exactly what he is getting. I did not try to tart this truck up for sale, it doesn’t have any quick fixes of anything. You can see all the bodywork nics in the pics. There is nothing hidden. I always try to tell all that I know, but I am in no way a mechanic and I can not know everything. I have owned this truck since new, and know all about it. There are some minor scratches on the body, all can be seen in the photos. The truck needs a rear, it is driveable, but please don’t doubt that it needs new bearings in the rear. The truck also needs a battery, although the one in it works well enough to drive the truck. It does not always start the truck. The truck’s engine needs a minor tune up as it has sat for a year. The transmission grinds going into 3rd gear if you shift it quickly. The clutch is good and I have not found any problem in any of the other gears. The seats need a little plastic gear to make them stay reclined properly, I have tied them into position, as you can see. The interior fan sometimes doesn’t run at some of the lower speeds, especially if heat is selected. The driver’s seat has some foam missing, see photo. Use a seat cover if it bothers you. The power door lock does not always work on the passenger’s side. The windows do. There is a tiny leak in the exhaust, it is after the muffler and does not seem to affect anything. The jobox works, but has some damage to the lock where somebody tried to break in. The windshield has a crack in it. Warranty: You are welcome to take this truck for a test drive when you buy it. If, after that, you feel it is not as I have presented it to you, I will refund your money. Please ask any questions and come take a look. Payment in FULL is due within 14 days of auction end. If you are picking it up within 14 days and will pay at pickup, I want cash, not a check or money order, just green period. If you are mailing payment, a bank check or money order will be fine but pickup will only happen when payment has cleared. I can deliver the truck to you for a fee if you are within 200 miles of Silver Spring, MD. Payment must clear before delivery. I can store for up to 3 months, but after that, it is mine again to resell. Please, please, please, if you win, you bought it. I don’t want to hear your wife broke her tooth on a bone in cheap hamburger and you had to spend your money fixing it like a guy told me once. When you win, it isn’t your money any more, it is mine and I am not fixing your wife’s tooth! It is very time consuming to list stuff on Ebay and Ebay insists on huge fees.
