For sale is a one owner 1984 Volvo 240 with 102,800 original miles. Runs and drives Excellent. Great example of this model. Acquired at a local charity auction. This is very nice 240 model with a clean Carfax with no accidents. ENGINE The engine is the original 2.3 liter straight 4 cylinder that it came with. The engine runs excellent. The timing best just replaced at 102,000 miles. TRANSMISSION It has the original 4spd manual transmission with electronic overdrive. It goes into all the gears with no grinding or slipping issues. It has the electronic overdrive button that works correctly. INTERIOR It has a great tan leather interior with no cuts or tears in the leather. The dash is also in great shape with no cracks in the dash and the carpet is clean with no major stains. PAINT AND BODY The body is in exceptional shape with the dark gray metallic paint in very good shape with some clear coat peeling on the rear trunk lid and no dents or dings on the body. It does have a couple of scratches on the front drivers door and some painted areas of the body. Nothing larger that an 1". This is a California car with no rust on the body. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory 14" wheels with average wear tires. They have about 40% tread left on them. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has a non-working A/C system. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The manual sunroof is also working great. It has a aftermarket Sony stereo cassette player. The radio tuner on the stereo works properly so does the cassette player. The speakers are the factory speakers and sound good. The power antenna is working correctly and has been recently replaced. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. Being sold at low reserve and will sell to the highest bidder.
