Vehicle Detail

This 1929 Chevy Coupe spent most of its life in Canon City, Colorado (a nice, dry desert town). Around 1990, the original owner's family sold it to a gentleman in Pueblo, Colorado (another desert town). It was running at the time but he started to take it apart to do a complete restoration. He replaced the roof frame, started taking the motor apart, and had the head rebuilt. Shortly around that time, he became ill. The engine was wrapped in many layers of plastic, as was the entire car. Though he collected many parts for the job, he was unfortunately unable to complete the project. A few weeks after he passed away in 2005, I had the pleasure of purchasing the coupe from his wife. Since then, it has sat in my heated garage in Colorado Springs. This is an unmolested, original, rust free 1929 Chevy Coupe and the first time this car has been offered to the public. I have placed many photos on my flickr account at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26862575@N03/sets/72157625569120787/ I can not find anything missing from this car. If you don't see it on the car, it's in the many boxes. The only damage I can find to the car is (1) a crack in the sheet metal behind the passenger door, (2) a small area of rotted wood behind this area inside, (3) a crack in the passenger side front fender, and (4) the driver's side of the engine cover has surface rust which is fairly heavy in some areas but does not go through the metal. Anything else is fairly minor or normal wear and tear to such a car. You can really see the details in the pictures on my flickr account. Answers to some previously asked questions: (1) I have a clear title for this car in my name. (2) The motor does turn. (3) You may notice from some of the pictures that there are actually 4 rear fenders (2 under the original 2). I do not know why. I see no sign of damage to any of them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'll try to answer anything I can. $1000 of the winning bid is due within 72 hours after auction close and is non-refundable. The full amount of the winning bid is due within 14 days (336 hours) after auction close.
