1970 Honda CB

This low mileage CB750 K0 Honda was made in February 1970. It has been in storage since 1973. I bought the bike from the son of the original owner who passed away. The bike was complete apart from one side cover and the clocks which the son was unable to find. I have replaced these parts, although the clocks are from a later model. The engine runs great, with no strange mechanical noises and absolutely no smoke from the exhaust. The clutch and gearbox work fine. The headlight, taillight and brake light are also working. The bike starts very easily from hot or cold on the kickstart, the electric start only works occasionally. There are no dents in any of the paintwork. It was painted last year. The two chromed engine covers have very bright chrome, also no dents.(although it looks like it in the pics) The front brake has been rebuilt with new seals and works great. The brake master cylinder has the early sandcast dished cap. The carbs are the early sandcast type which use four separate cables and have brass floats. The die cast engine is the early type using the sandcast cylinder head with no extra hold down bolt for the valve cover. A 16 inch wheel has been fitted, the tire still has the nibs and no wear, the front shows almost no wear. A period custom front fender was fitted and looks great. The tank is clean inside and has been beautifully scalloped as seen in the pictures. The bike does need a new battery. The custom seat has is in great condition and has no tears. The bike has been in storage for nearly 40 years, paperwork was lost years ago, the bike is sold with a Bill of Sale only. The K0 is the most sought after of all the CB750s and this bike is a good example of the first superbike. .Paypal is the preferred method of payment.
