Up for bids is a RARE 1961 Dodge W100 Shortbox Power Wagon. It's powered by the original 318-1 200HP solid lifter V8, 3 on the tree manual trans., and ONLY 21,215 original miles. The engine runs great but does smoke when first started and at idle, I believe it will need new valve guide seals. I change the oil & filter along with a new fuel filter and air filter. It has 4.10 gear ratio so it's not a speed demon. I also installed new 16x8 aluminum wheels with good tires. I have all 5 original 17 inch wheels and tires but the tires are weathered. I also have the original rear bumper, and the original owners manual tha shows some of the oil changes over the years. The original jack and road flairs still located on the inside the front inner fender. The truck was repainted over 12 years ago and there was no rust at that time. It has a small rust spot on the drivers side rocker but nothing major. It also has some patch panels on both sides of the floor boards but theres only a small rust spots in the floor under the panels. I put a new clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder but they still need some bleeding out to work properly. The inside of the bed was never painted when the body was done, the guy I purchased it from was going to have it rhino lined but never had it done. The body is as straight as a 1961 Dodge Power Wagon was in 1961. No bondo was used in the repaint because the truck only needed new paint to be nice. This is the first year of this body style and very few of these trucks were even built so it makes this a hard to find truck!!! Call Mike at 402-362-7938 If you have any questions.
