Available for bid is a 1999 Ford Taurus (V6, 24V DOHC) 118K miles with all power accessories and cruise control. This has been our personal vehicle for the past 11 years and has been maintained with regularly scheduled oil changes and inspections. The vehicle is fully functioning, and has been registered and on the road until very recently and is only for sale due to the fact that we have no place to store this vehicle. There are no known mechanical defects with the car, with the understanding that I am not a vehicle mechanic and make no implied guarantees. Since this vehicle is being sold AS IS, with NO WARRANTY, I will make every effort to describe previous maintenance performed and work that is needed. During 2010, the following items were replaced: Both rear springs, the struts and rear brake lines, and the hoses to the coolant reservoir. The front ball joints were recently replaced, followed by a front-end alignment. The only known work needed is: the front windshield will need to be replaced at some time, as there is a crack in it large enough that it would likely need to be repaired to pass inspection. There is also a rust spot shown in the photos. The heat and defrost work; the Air conditioning does not currently work-it may need just a re-charge or could require further repair. All other accessories are in working order including the power seats, windows, mirrors and cruise control. Please be sure to ask any questions PRIOR TO the end of auction.
