NEEDS ALITTLE WORK, BUT COULD EASLIY BE A DAILY DRIVER, RAT ROD, HOT ROD, ......YOU DECIDE..... Item being listed "AS IS", with no warranties written or implied. . Please ask questions prior to bidding. I'm suppling loads of info on this truck, so you'll know the overall condition...There's alot to read, but I'd rather give too much info than not enough, then have someone dissapointed in the purchase. GENERAL: I purchased this truck several years ago with the intention of replacing some items, and keeping it a Rat Rod.. Too many other projects, and no time to work on it...It could be a really strong running daily driver with very little effort. BODY: Body is in good condition. Drivers side fender has a rust thru just above the running board, forward of the drivers door. Theres small dents on the rear fenders, and areas that have surface rust, but no rust thru.. Body is all original. BED: Original...Wood will need replacing. Glass: Drivers side window is cracked. I have replacement glass for doors and the windshield. INTERIOR: Original bench seat, which I beleive has been reupholstered in black. Headliner as well as doors and kick panels have precut black panels. Dash guages have been moved to the center of the dashboard. A newer style speedometer is where the original speedometer would have been. Oil pressure guage works, but the amp, and temp guage need to be hooked up. Gas guage reads empty, cause there's no gas in the tank. Previous owner was going to relocate the tank, so he disconnected the fuel line and didn't go any further. There is a gas can in the bed hooked up to the electric fuel pump, and is used for starting, and moving the truck. The original dash guage holes are covered, and could easliy be made functional again. Cab has a heater. Original steering column and steering wheel. FRAME: All Original frame. Leaf springs front and rear. Ford 351 Windsor motor, Ford rear. Ford automatic trans. Gas tank is under, and just behind the cab. Small radiator with an electric cooling fan. ENGINE: Ford 351 Windsor. I was told by the previous owner the engine came from a 1971 Mustang GT, which is bored .030 over, and has a mild cam. Engine has less than 50 hours of run time on it. This is a really strong running motor . 60psi oil pressure @ idle. (Engine documentation was supposed to be mailed to me, but I never got it.) Exhaust manifolds are stock. Mufflers are Cherry Bombs, that will need replacing. WHEELS: Chromed, Ford bolt pattern. (Old cragars, pictured in listing go with the truck. 2 are 15x8, and 2 are 15x6.. YES. YOU CAN GET IN, START IT UP, THROW IT INTO DRIVE, AND GO! IT DOES RUN AND DRIVES, STEERS WELL, AND HAS BRAKES, BUT AS WITH ANY VECHICLE LIKE THIS THE BUYER WILL NEED TO GO OVER THE TRUCK MECHANICALLY TO ENSURE IT'S SAFE. A COUPLE OF LAST MINUTE DETAILS I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE LISTING.. THE TRANS HAS A "HURST" PRO MATIC SHIFTER with LOCKOUT. ENGINE HAS ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. PRIOR OWNER INSTALLED A NEW FUSE BOX, AND WIRING HARNESS. FUSE BOX MANUFACTURER LOOK LIKE IT'S WIRE WORKS, FROM PA. HAS A 12 CIRCUITS, ALL IDENTIFIED. 6 ARE STILL OPEN. THE CAB HAS NEW 12 VOLT WINDSHEILD WIPER MOTORS INSTALLED, BUT WIRES NEED TO BE HOOKED UP.
