Rare Collector Car - 1985 AMC Eagle 4x4 Limited Wagon up for auction to the highest bidder worldwide. Car runs/starts smooth as Eagles go and handles great with the power steering. *Clean TITLE* ,*4x4 is inactive as it needs vacuum engagement fixed*** (we bought it like this and never looked into it). When 4x4 is restored on this vehicle it shifts on the fly with a nifty switch on the dash. Not modified in any way other than a tow package added to rear when it was purchased. Original paint, trim, interior, parts, cassette stereo, rims, everything right on down to the floor mats. 107,061 Original miles. We have owned the vehicle for many years and never off-roaded or towed anything (unfortunately). I'd rate the car inside and out a 7.0, see for yourself in the photos. One of the back windows doesn't go down, paint looks great but has some small scratches and spots where paint has come off. Interior roof lining has come down and was stapled back into place. One of the visors has come off (still have it with vehicle). Given it's blemishes this vehicle still looks and drives great and has been priced to sell. I enjoyed this car as a surf wagon and always got lots of thumbs up , haa haa. Questions welcome. We are non smokers, and no pets in the car. *Currently did not pass the smog in the idle test in California,* (may be minor, problem like old gas and needs new filter?) We drove the car only during our summers and Christmas break visits to San Diego, So the car was sitting a couple of months before we went to get smoged. About 4 years ago we had the carborator fixed and idle adjusted and it passed every year till now. *Car is located in San Diego, CA. The AMC Eagles inaugurated a new product category of "sport-utility" or Crossover SUV. Introduced in August 1979 for the 1980 model year, the coupe, sedan, and wagon body styles are based on the Concord. In 1981 Spirit-based models joined the line. For the 1987 model year the Eagle was manufactured by the Chrysler Corporation retaining the AMC badging. Production of the Eagle continued until December 14, 1987, and was marketed until early 1988.
