My son has a 1963 Volkswagon Beetle (bug) that I'm listing for him as he has limited access to the internet. The Volkswagon has been lowered, fresh paint, clean interior (looks like OEM) & carpet, original radio. All glass is good with no cracks and weatherstriping around glass is good. The motor was purchased from a man whose VW was totaled because a tree fell across the front hitting the windshield & roof. He stated he drove the VW regularly. He started the motor up and it ran good, didn't smoke or make any unusual noise. He also stated it had less than 10,000 on the motor. The motor has a 12 volt alternator, custom exhaust & larger carburator. The running boards are off the car but go with it. With a little more finishing work it will make you a good car. Floor pans are good but have a few dents. Headlights are not installed due to missing a few parts. The VW needs a few pieces of chrome on front hood, license plate holder, maybe weatherstirping for the doors, and some electrical wiring. Brakes work as well as park brake. I don't think it will cost too much to finish up the car. It's not wired up to run but maybe it could be so you could hear the motor. Please note actual mileage is unknown. My son and his wife are expecting a baby and he can't finish up the car. I'll make more pictures and if you have any questions please email and I will try to answer.
