This is a 1976 Toyota Land cruiser that I am selling. When it was last parked (60 days) ago it was running. Lights and blinkers were working. It is a project that has a lot of potential and I do not have the time to restore. I acquired this unit to restore,play with,....a toy! All of the glass is in good shape, has typical surface rust but is NOT a rust bucket like some I have seen. The only "see through" spot that I know about is a small hole in the floor pan where the center console is. It needs a battery, tune-up, new paint job (looks like original paint to me) Tires and wheels are like new. Smoked very little when I first drove it around and quit. I am thinking either valve guides or just a tune-up. It was a weekend driver to hunting club and back home. The hardtop seems to be in great shape. It shows 35,681 miles and even though they are exempt I am sure it has flipped over. Just trying to keep it real.The front seats need re-upholstering and the back seat needs the same and needs to be bolted down. The winch on the front also works(I was told) and is a warn, 12,000lbs. It has a toggle switch that cuts fuel pump on and off. I know these cruisers are desirable and bring a lot of money when fully restored. I have decided to list this with "NO RESERVE" to let all of you experts decide what it is worth to you. I have in it (in money) more than I would like to think about so whatever it brings, it WILL BE SOLD!" I do not have any service paper work or anything to go along with it other that a "bill of sale". There was a Ga. tag on it that expired 12/01/10. Bring your money and a trailer and load this baby up! I would NOT attempt to drive it home as it has not been serviced or recently maintained to be road worthy. On Jan-13-11 at 15:24:04 PST, seller added the following information: Have had several questions about a title.....Ga. is NOT a state that has to have a title for a 1976 vehicle. In Ga. it has to be a title for 1986 and newer. All I have for the winning bidder is a "BILL OF SALE" and an old/expired tag receipt (Dec.-2010) from previous owner. Every state is different but you should be able to take bill of sale to get it titled in "your name" in your state. Hope this helps!
