Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a Red 1967 Chevelle Malibu Convertible with red bucket seats and white top. The car is a factory 283 small block, powerglide automatic transmission. Bucket seats, console automatic on the floor. The current motor/transmission in the car is a 330 hp Jasper 350 small block w/ a 350 turbo automatic and shift kit that uses the factory powerglide shifter. The original numbers matching motor and trans goes with the car as well. The car has a super sport hood on it, but does also come with the original hood. It has a 10 bolt posi rear with 373 gears. The motor in the car has a chrome air cleaner, polished intake, chrome valve covers, polished water pump, chrome 100 amp 1 wire alternator, underdrive polished pulleys, polished fluid filled harmonic balancer, chrome oil pan, stainless ARB engine fastner kit, and Holly 750 dual feed carb. The exhaust system starts with hooker super comp headers into 2-1/2" X flow exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. the car also has a highflow aluminum radiator with electric fan, Lakewood ladder bars, 8" Corvette ralley wheels all the way around with spinner caps. Tires are new P235 60 R15 BF Goodrich TA's.This car has been painted for 20 years, and has been garage kept all of that time. That being said, the car does have its imperfections and some spots showing on the body and top, which are all visible in the attached pictures, but this is a great all around driver. The transmission does have a small leak when it sits , which appears to be coming from the dip stick tube area, but it is not a rear main seal or front seal leak. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding, or if you would like to see additional pictures, i'd be glad to get them to you. This is a no reserve auction, so the opening bid is my bottom price for this car. This car does turn heads any where it goes, as convertibles in this year are pretty few and far between. Good luck bidding, and thank you for looking! I have some new information to provide about my car. I took it for a drive today with the top up, as it is pretty cold here in Pennsylvania right now, and I noticed a slight whine in the rear at between 45-55 mph. I'm guessing it has made the whine for awhile, but with the top down i have never noticed it. I have probably only driven the car 400-500 miles in the last 5 years. I've been asked by alot of people why i'm selling the car. The only reason i am getting rid of the car is because i have 2 harleys that my wife and I enjoy, and i just don't drive the car much anymore. My apologies for the rear update, but like i said, i can't remember the last time i drove the car with the top up. Thanks.
