Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS. All original numbers matching car, has had 1 paint job in 1980. I'm technically the 3rd owner of the car. I bought this from my uncle who has owned it since 1980. He bought it from his father-in-law who bought it new. I've put less than 100 miles on it since I've owned it, only drove it from his garage to mine. It has not seen a day of rain or snow in over 30 years. It has the original 350 motor and trans, the original spare tire has never touched the ground. It runs and shifts great. Has some rare factory options, tilt wheel, ac, am/fm stereo with cassette and optional kick panel speakers, bumper gaurds, 12 bolt rear end, bucket seats and z-gate console shifter, SS mag wheels, still has original floor mats. It has a very good set of bias ply white letter tires, and the vinal top is still in great shape. The interior is in great condition, only flaw being 2 3" split areas on base of drivers seat. The dash is great-no cracks, headliners great, door panels great, carpet great, all glass is good. I own several muscle cars and this car is in great shape, very hard to find like this. The bumpers are in great shape, all the chrome is good, no rust on the car. I bought this car with the intent of transplanting a extra 427 I have into it and hot rod it out, but cant bring myself to mutilate it (the 427 is not for sale). Bidders are encouraged to come look at/test drive, the car speaks for itself. Please email me with any questions you have, I have a very hectic schedule but will respond as quicly as I can. I'm not intrested in any trades- unless you have a hideaway headlight set up for a 1968 Impala.
