This Is A No Reserve Auction!!! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE Diamond State Motor Brokers Inc This Listing Presented By: Brian A Hayes (president) Diamond State Motor Brokers Inc Certified Automobile Repair & Service Parts Plus Rental LLC 6001-6007 Summit Bridge Rd Townsend, De 19734 Office: 302-378-1182 / Fax 302-378-4679 / Cell 302-229-3791 1972 MGB GT Project Car No Reserve History: We purchased this B GT from a woman who had this car parked in indoor storage for approx. 23 years. I was hoping to make a personal project out of it and do a V8 conversion but other priorities have taken over. The woman who owned it stated that she was driving the car everyday prior to leaving the US for an extended stay in Europe. When she came back she sold the car to us and here we go... The car is not perfect by any respect and needs just about everything imaginable from sitting for such a long period of time. It is however an excellent candidate for restoration due to the fact that it was stored indoor until recently and there is very little rust. Especially to the underside of the car. It does not need floors or other major major body panel replacements like so many B's if its age. I am fairly knowledgable of these cars due to owning several over the years so please ask questions and we are happy to provide more pics to interested parties. FYI: We also have a 1967 Roadster that is jacked up on CJ5 suspension with a V8 that will be listed here soon... Thanks, Brian 1/4/11 - I have added some pics of the absolute worst spots on the car (in my opinion) as far as body work is concerned and some pics of the filthy engine compartment: - There is a small dent at the seam of the drivers door which has some minor rust and causes the door to pinch when you try to open it... - Also, the front Air Dam is screwed up. It looks like someone ran into a parking curb at some point... - Can anyone help me identify whether or not this has an overdrive trans? I dont have any experience with them and I cant see under the car to see if there is an overdrive unit attached to it... Need help with Shipping? We can assist!
