Recent upgrades: Added an original OEM spoiler Painted it black – this color was offered in 1996 Added American Eagle wheels, rotated and balanced - Still have original rims will include for an additional $200. Added stainless steel muffler extensions Just changed oil and filter, Dec. 2010. Continued with the Mobile 1 synthetic oil. I have a custom fit front bra that I just bought, brand new, now installed. Service work in the last year or so: New tires in spring of 2009, still very new looking and lots of tread left. New plugs at 127,593 miles. New timing belt at 127,593 miles. New water pump and thermostat at 127,593 miles Shifter bushing,2 rack bushings,front struts replaced…car is tight! Replaced the 2 piece drive shaft this spring with a Stillen 1 piece alum. Also new front rotors calipers and brake pads in Spring 2010. New Exide battry, Dec. ‘09 New knock sensor and injector seals in July 2010 Oil has been kept up with Mobil one full synthetic,previous owners used it so I have stayed with it Owner before me had recently replaced back calipers,A/C compressor,new fan and belts. Over $10,000 invested in this car in the last 2 years!!!! This car runs great. It’s very quick and fun to drive. No rust. Has not been driven in winter conditions. Have many of the service records for this car. It has been very well taken care of!!!! This is going to make someone a great car for many years to come!!! The only known issues are the check engine light is on. The code is for an air intake control valve. The prior owner indicated this light came on when the knock sensor and injector seals were replaced. He continued to drive it after that. I also have driven with this light on with no issues. Am told it can be taken off and cleaned and many times this takes care of it. Also estimate to replace is estimated new at $275 or could find a used one for less. This has never been an issue for me or the previous owner so we haven’t bothered to replace. Interior is clean no tears or worn out looking 1 small blemish on drivers seat.
