Please note: I have received many questions and requests for additional photos since listing the Blazer. I would like to say that I am a retired "secretary" trying to sell this vehicle for my 92 year old Dad. Neither of us is a subject matter expert but will do the best we can. After the listing began, we discovered antifreeze was leaking from the radiator due to a hole so we had a new radiator installed on 1/6/11 (to the tune of $428.82). That will be the only part I will say is in perfect/new condition! While the Blazer was in the garage on the lift, we took photos of the undercarriage. I have 6 photos and will be happy to email them if requested. They do show evidence of rust on the undercarriage. We were not aware of this when it was listed. Dad had the entire vehicle painted 3 years ago by Maaco as it had some body rust in the rear panel areas. There has been no sign of rust since that time other than on the bumper (shown in photo) and the undercarriage. Please remember this is a 1987 vehicle ... and although it was well loved and cared for by my Dad, it won't be perfect. I cannot predict if it will make a long distance trip ... it has only been driven locally for the past several years and mostly in the garage for the past 2 years since Dad stopped driving. If you are thinking of bidding without seeing the vehicle first, I will do my best to answer questions and provide additional photos. However, it is being sold "as is" with no further guarantees. Up for auction is a 1987 Chevrolet Blazer S10 4x4 Sport Utility Vehicle. The model number is CT10516. It has a 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive. This vehicle was listed on Ebay in early November but did not sell. It is being relisted at a lower price. I am selling this vehicle for my Dad who is 92 and no longer driving. He is the original owner and purchased it on 10/2/86 from a dealer. It has 59,225 miles and has been garage kept. It is currently in good running condition and has been well cared for over the years. This was my Dad's "pleasure" vehicle which accounts for the low mileage. Exterior color is Nevada Gold with Saddle Tan vinyl interior. I have the original invoice and many of the receipts from any work done over the years. It has a clear title. It passed NJ State Inspection on 1/12/09 and has a current valid inspection sticker. When this vehicle was ordered, my Dad purchased many options and accessories (total of $4422.00). This vehicle has never been in an accident. There are 2 areas of rust on the rear bumper (see photos). Interior is in good clean condition with no visible wear or damage to vinyl. This vehicle has 4 All-Season Premium Radial tires. They are the 2nd set of tires since it was purchased and have about 10,000 miles on them. Oil was changed in November of 2010. It has a working CB radio but Dad lost the antenna during a hunting trip!! Options purchased and shown on the invoice include: Deep tinted glass, exterior below eye painted mirror, folding rear seat, power tailgate window release, reclining seat backs, black wheel opening moulding, interior wipe system, electric RR window defroster, visor mirror, air deflector, console, locking diff-RR axle, RRR axle-4.11 ratio, engine block heater, elec speed control, air cleaner-pre-cln, 2.8L EFI V6 gas, 5-spd manual w/ overdrive, 20 gallon fuel tank, power steering, spare tire cover, halogen headlamps, ETR AM/FM stereo with cassette player, tachometer, eng compartment lamp, deadweight trail hitch, heavy duty radiator, cold climate package, luggage carrier, off-road chassis eqpt., Quaker State rustproofing, bumper guard, brush guard, front/rear floor mats. It does NOT have air conditioning. The Blazer had a new radiator installed on 1/6/11. This vehicle can be seen during the listing time in the Flemington area.
