For auction is a 1938 Chevy 5 window coupe with the full prostreet treatment. Body is super solid with no filler used for holes. Any rust repair was done by welding new metal. All new floors, trunk, wheel tubs, etc. Motor is a very mild 454 big block chevy. It has a small cam, steel heads, aluminum intake, holley carb, and the usuall chrome pieces. The transmission is a th350 with shift kit and stall. The rear end is a narrowed ford 9" with a 4:10 gear. Has brand new tires with the big Mcikeys on the back. Upgraded radiator has been installed. Everything has been converted to 12 volt. All the glass is new, but will need a new passager window. It cracked during transport, but it is flat glass and can be made at any local glass shop for less then $30. Interior needs finishing and have most everything to finish it. I have a brand new set of gauges and billet gauge panel for it. It has a flamming river stainless tilt column in itnstalled. Carpet, seats, and headliner are done. Minor trimming and gauge install is all thats left. There is some wiring left to do and I have a brand new harness in the box for the car. The only wiring left to do is the lights. All wiring for the fuel pump and motor are done. The car does run and drive as it sits right now just no lights. The paint is fairly new but is of driver quality. There are some dings that could have been smoothed better and some better prep work around the hinges. The rear fenders and running boards are fiberglass. Door handles have been shaved and still need poppers installed. The rest of the car is all steel. For a 73 year old car it looks real good. Previous owner had this car for more then 10 years. I was told the motor, tranny, and rear end have all been rebuilt with little to no run or drive time on them. I have no receipts top prove this though. He al told me he had right at $40k in the car at this point. My reserve is no where close to that kind of money. Reserve is set and less then half it would cost you to tub a car like this. Please do not ask the reserve as I will not give it out. Look at the pictures and ask all question before auction end. If you bid I expect you to pay. If you do not all actions will be reported to ebay. A $500 deposit is due with in 24 hours of auction end. The rest is due with in 7 days of auction end. Shipping costs is totaly on the buyer.
