I am auctioning off my daughters Jeep. It has the miles listed and they are accurate. It has been painted in sections due to scratches but never hard hit or bodywork. I have tried to show the blemishes as best I can in the photos, and will answer any questions you may have. The history of this car is that it was purchased new by a good friend in 2002 in Salisbury MD, at the local Jeep dealer there. He drove it to about 90k miles give or take and I bought it for my daughter when she began to drive, six years ago. It ran fine until one day it went to a local quick lube spot that we all see on tv, and a week later the engine began making a terrible metal noise. The result was complete denial of the running without oil by the lube shop, and the jeep got a Jasper motor at 120k miles, three and a half years ago at my expense. If you know these engines, the thing runs flawlessly, doesn't use oil, smoke, and has been to College and back ten plus times (600 miles each way) without missing a beat. The transmission was rebuilt last summer, tires have 20k miles on them, it has an alpine cd, custom speakers with amp, ipod hookup, and infinity powered sub, all work nothing is blown. The Jeep has Quadra Trac which is full time full wheel drive so you will never have to wonder if you are in 4wheel drive in uncertain conditions, which I felt was best for a young driver. To confirm what I knew about the car I took it to a Maryalnd Inspection Station and it passed state inspection without any corrections needed. The only reason this car is being sold is that I have purchased a new 2011 grand cherokee which passes my 2008 grand cherokee to my child that makes this 2002 jeep a spare vehicle that needs to leave my garage.
