Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a beautiful 1973 CL350 that has everything already done for you to enjoy. The mileage on the title(clear Ohio Title in my name) is 9419, the speedometer that I replaced it with shows 5855. I put this speedometer on as it was in pristine shape, since this overhaul was finished in Feb of this year there has been less than 20 miles put on it. Just check the pictures that show the tires and you will see that the markings are still on the tread along with the nub. NOS parts include, rear brake pedal, cables, head light brackets, kick stand spring, center stand spring, rear taillight lens, side emblems, neck bearings, gas cap, petcock, chain, sprockets, all gaskets, fork seals, battery strap, exhaust gaskets, hand grips, levers, mirrors, and much more. New parts also on the bike are paint, tires, tubes, rim strips, chrome buttons on seat, battery, points, condensors, plugs, both air filters, rear shocks, and more. The frame and all metal parts were bead blasted, primered and painted. New chrome includes, front fender, exhaust collars, horn cover, points cover, tach drive cover, handlebars, wire loom, exhaust covers, shift lever, headlight ring, carb tops, all four turn signals, grab rail, rear brake stay, and more. All aluminum parts have been buffed out and polished, including engine cases, hubs and forks, brake hubs. A local Honda repair shoped bored the motor .030 over and new pistons, rings, stainless exhaust valves and valve job. The carbs were sent out and overhauled. All the electrics work including starter, high beam indicator, neutral light, turn signals, turn signal indicator, head light, brake light. The front forks were dissasembled, cleaned out, new seals put in and new fork oil. The oil filter was cleaned and has synthetic oil in it. The motor is not even broke in yet as it has only been started a few times since completed in Feb. Since completion it has been entered in two shows, this spring in Grove City, Ohio at the Vintage Japenese Motorcycle show it took "Best Of The 70's" and in October this year at Biketoberfest 2010 Daytona Beach it placed second in "Vintage Stock" at the Boardwalk Bike Show. It draws a crowd anywhere you go. Take a look at what has been done and at the pictures and try to imagine how much money that you would have to invest to build a bike to this level. All that being said this is a 37 year old motorcycle and there is no warranty, what you see is what you get. Financial situation mandates that I get rid of my toys. Local pick up only unless bike is paid for ahead of time and buyer makes and arrainges all transportation. Please understand that this is not a new bike. It does not have fuel injection or electronic ignition. Yes, you will have to fiddle with it. I made it clear that I have not put any miles on this bike since doing the work. If you are not comfortable with that please do not bid and then decide that you wanted a new motorcycle. This bike sold once and then the buyer wanted gaurantees. There are none, only that what I have said that was done to the bike and the condition is true. I have positive feedback and want to keep it that way. AS IS means AS IS
