Vehicle Detail

1996 Chrysler Town and Country LXI. 3.8 liter V6 engine runs great, and does not use or leak any oil. Transmission shifts flawlessly. Suspension and steering are very tight and precise. Nice smooth Chrysler ride. I have driven this van to Jacksonville. Florida from Atlanta, Georgia three times since the middle of November and it performed perfectly! Car has power windows, power locks, power mirrors, tilt column, cruise control, leather seating for 7, with power assist on the fronts, removable middle bucket seats and rear bench seat, class II trailer hitch, overhead console with compass, thermometer, MPG and trip odometer. Car has 257000 miles on it, but runs and drives better than most vehicles I have driven with half that mileage! I would not hesitate to hop in it right now and drive it to California if Katy Perry invited me over for dinner. I have a clear Georgia title in my name for it. As with any 16 year old vehicle, there are a few things that need, or will need attention. Here are the things that I know need fixed: *The cruise control is not operational. *The CD player does not play CD's, but the radio works fine. Not sure about the cassette deck, as I have no cassettes. *The Oxygen Sensor needs replaced ($68.99 at any auto parts store) It does not effect the way the car runs or drives, but does make the dreaded check engine light come on. I have a code scanner and will be happy to run the diagnostic on it when you come to look at it. *The turn signals work sometimes, and sometimes they don't. The fuses are fine, and the lights flash with the hazards on, so it is not the bulbs. It may be in the trailer wiring harness, or maybe the turn signal switch in the steering column. *The A/C does not blow cold. The parts are all there and hooked up. May need just freon.. R134.The heater will run you out though. The rear seats are easily removable if you need it to work out of. There are sliding doors on both sides. Remote keyless entry works. It would be hard to find a better car for the money. This is a NO RESERVE auction, and the last bid owns it. Car is located in Jacksonville, Florida, near the intersection of Arlington and Atlantic Blvd. Payment is due within 7 days of the auctions end. Car can be stored here for 30 days after the end of the auction. Car is advertised locally, and may not last long. Please call or e-mail me if you have any questions. Thank you for looking, and best wishes. Frank(404)-219-9319hotrodfc@yahoo.comOn Dec-29-10 at 20:34:36 PST, seller added the following information: I fixed the turn signals. Turned out to be a $50 flasher relay in the fuse box. They now operate as they should.
