TWO BUYERS HAVE BACKED OUT ON ME ON THEIR RESTORATION PROJECTS, HERE AT THE HOLIDAYS, LEFT ME WITH MAJOR OVERHEAD!!! MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!!! RELISTING AT FRACTION OF APPRAISAL... 71 Mach 1, 429 CJ-Ram Air drag pack…original engine was stolen long ago, a modest 302 resides in front of a SB C6 automatic transmission…still has 3.91 traction lock 9” rear axle with 31 splines… Driver’s side fender needs work but is salvageable, all glass is in tact, and rear seats don’t need new upholstery either…interior is gorgeous red/black…needs rear passenger floor pan and driver’s side floor pan may need small patches…has adjustable rear spoiler and pop open gas cap!! Car is on a clear title and last title transfer reports odometer at 14,000 miles…odometer now reads 18,000… I have (2) factory build sheets for the car, both found while removing the old carpet, one under the rear seat and one under the carpet at the console…very neat! This Mach 1 is one of less that 550 drag pack cars and was known to do quarter mile times in the mid 12’s on polyglass tires!!! You can still find 429CJ engines out there, you just have to look and pay!! Needs a great home and someone who will do a 100pt restoration, very rare and valuable car!! Last of the true muscle cars… Please don’t call to “quiz” me on the legitimacy of the car, it was purchased from a 30 yr MCA Judge…it’s a legit J-code!!
