Vehicle Detail
I have for sale my 1964 Impala non SS that will be sold with a bill of sale only. It has the original drive train consisting of a 283 with 3 spd that was originally on the tree, moved to the floor. This car has been sitting for some time before I bought it as a group package along with my 1951 Ford Victoria convertible, I'm selling this car because I will not be able to get to restoring it for some time as the Ford needs just as much work and I need the space and finances won't be there for about another year or so. This car is in need of a complete restoration to include floor boards. Despite the rust, the body is still very solid also from what I could see looking under the car, the frame is still solid. The body would need a skim coat and a few spots of fiber glass but nothing will need completely replaced. The 283 turns over by hand but I have not been able to get time to try and get it to start. Drums are seized on the car so it will need new drums, I got the front ones off to get it to the house, but didn't get time to get the rear ones off. The bumpers and trim are still in good shape and will just need cleaned up. All glass is good except rear window is broken. $600 is the lowest I would go. So one bid is all it takes to get this car. Please email me with any and all questions prior to bidding. Payment of $250 non refundable due within 24hrs of auction ending. Would like it picked up within 1 week of auction ending. Please email with any questions on picking up. THIS CAR WILL NEED TOWED OUT!! On Dec-23-10 at 10:10:33 PST, seller added the following information: I hope I didn't throw anyone off when I said one bid is all it takes to get this car. I meant that since the minimum bid was $600 that all it could take is your 1 bid of $600 to win it if nobody else were to bid on it, not that I would end the auction early after 1 bid. If that were the case I would have just posted it in the classifieds for free for $600.
