1970 Chevelle SS 454 LS5...... Frame off nut and bolt restoration with over $45,000.00 in reciepts! 1) Frame: Was in perfect condition, sand blasted, cleaned, primed and painted 60% black. Upon re assembly Energy suspension bushings were installed. New Rotors, drums, calipers, SS brake lines, Eibach springs(Have stock Moog), Hotchkiss sway bars, Rear end totally rebuilt with Yukon Posi carrier w/ 4.10 gears, T/A Rear end cover, new axles. 2) Engine: Is an LS7 454, now a 468 Built by Tilburg's in PA. The motor has the best parts, JE pistons, H beam rods, arp bolt kit, crane Hyd roller cam, roller rockers, roller lifters, Iron heads large port, open chamber, SS valves, HD springs, Edelbrock RPM air gap manifold, everything balanced, HV oil pump, 750 holley street carb, Holley fuel pump, Hooker competition headers ceramic coated inside and out. But yet looks stock when you raise the hood. On the chassis dyno car made 440hp to rear wheels, and about 540hp at the crank with 554 lbs. torque. 3) Trans: Th400 totally rebuilt with the best parts, HD everything, 2600 stall(would handle 700hp) 4) Exhaust: New SS 2 1/2" Pipes system with x pipe and factory oval tips. 5) Fuel System: New Fuel tank, sending unit, SS 3/8" fuel line 6) Body: Media blasted, New GM full 1/4 panels, wheel houses, trunk floor, dropoffs, Full floor boards, new Goodmark Doors, fenders, inner fenders, all gaps were aligned, body was blocked out 3 times, Painted Cranberry red, black stripes, 5 coats of clear, trunk is painted with GM spatter paint and cleared over. 7) Trim: Everything new, most parts Gm not repo. New bumpers, lights, emblems, SS trim was wet sanded and polished on wheel. 8) Wiring: All new Wiring, from front to back. 9) Glass: All new correct tinted, windshield has antenna inside. 9) Interior: Dynomat installed on floor, roof, inside doors and rear panels. All new Dash, gauges, heater core, blower motor, carpet and padding, seats, headliner, correct date seat belts, Console w staple shifter, Restored tilt steering column, Optional wheel, Custom auto sound stereo with ipod in glove box, hidden amp w 6 speakers. 10) Wheels and tires: 17x8 front, 17x9.5 rear with federal performance tires. There is so much more to write...... EVERYTHING is new or restored...... I have photos of entire restoration, and a folder full of receipts, everything works even the key buzzer! It was born with code 756 interior and Cranberry Red paint. Rear end is the original 12 bolt that came with the car.
