Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 68 CL350, it has a clear Ohio title in my name. The mileage stated on the title is 5444 and the individual that I bought it from told me that was the original mileage. The speedometer that I put on which was in much nicer shape reads 1120 miles which is what it read when I bought the speedometer. NOS parts on this bike include, sprockets, drive chain, mirrors, handlebar controls, cables, tail light lens, hand grips, levers and more. It also has new tires, tubes, rim strips, points, condensors, plugs, neck bearings, fork seals, center stand spring, kick stand spring, gear shift lever, rear brake pedal,. The cylinders were honed, valves lapped, new standard rings installed, all new gaskets and seals, new air filters, new petcock, fuel lines, filters, new foot peg rubbers. All the aluminum parts were buffed and polished to a high shine including engine cases, clutch cover, forks, brake hubs, wheel hubs steering neck and more. All metal parts were bead blasted, primered and painted. Fuel tank, headlight and side covers were sent out and painted. Rechroming includes front fender, rear fender, rear fender struts, all four turn signal housings, tach drive cover, points cover, rear brake stay, chain gaurd, handle bars, exhaust mounts, hand rail, both rims and NOS spokes on both wheels, steering stem nut and more. The carbs were sent out to a company in Canada and rebuilt. This bike was on display at the "Cycle World International Bike Show" at the Ocean Center at Daytona Beach, Fl during Bike Week in March 2010. It was show once at the Vintage Japenese Motor Cycle show in Grove City, Ohio this spring and took "Best of the 60's and Earlier" Now for the bad, when I uncovered the bike today to take these pictures, I noticed that the paint on the emblems on the side covers was starting to lift. I had them painted to match the paint on the bike. Also, even though the carburetors were professionally rebuilt, they are not right. I have a set of carburetors that I just gave $200 for from a dealer here on e-bay that are suppose to rebuilt that I will include with the sale if the buyer so desires. The battery is also in need of replacement. I am out of funds to pursue this any further and am selling my toys, that is why the low starting price on this bike when I have much more than that in it. If you have ever started to redo one you can start adding up how much that I have invested and know that this is a deal. As with any 42 year old motorcycle, there is no warranty or return, what you see is what you get so check the pictures and be sure that you know what you are biddding on so that we both have a good transaction. Local pickup only unless buyer makes and pays for all arraingements to have it delivered. If paying by personal check it will take at least 7-10 days for the check to clear both our banks before the bike will be released. Buyers with a rating of 10 or less must contact me first before bid will be accepted.
