Vehicle Detail

Thank you for viewing the sale detail for this 2002 F350 4X4 pickup truck! This truck has the reliable 7.3 power stroke diesel (119,000 miles), 8’ bed, auto transmission, Lariat package, Meyer 8.5 commercial poly snow plow, roof mounted light bar, Meyer 750S electric tailgate salt spreader and many other improvements that are listed below. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION! The highest bidder will own this truck in 7 days. I have clear title in hand. This is one truck that I have extensive firsthand knowledge of since personally purchasing it slightly used back in 2002 from a reputable local dealership. This truck has been used for many revenue producing tasks such as my personal field office, snow plowing, salt spreading, estimating, trailer pulling, hauling pallets of materials, etc. This truck has been properly maintained over the years, always had the finest parts installed and the drive train has been left stock (by choice). The truck has never been smoked in and really looks and performs better than many newer trucks on the road today. I tend to drive my vehicles like “an old man” and carry a bottle of Windex in every vehicle I own. Jokingly, I have been called paranoid (in regard to cleanliness and order) and told to incorporate Windex into everything I do. A few months ago I sold this truck to my brother to assist him in starting a new lawn care and snow management business. However, just last week he achieved his goal of becoming a paramedic and made the decision to explore opportunities within his chosen paramedic career instead of investing time in his landscape and snow business (at least for the time being). He asked me if I could help him sell his new/my old truck and here we are today. Here are some of the current and remaining “issues” that make this truck used and NOT NEW: - Rear trailer hitch is functional, but worn and needs to be replaced. - Driver’s side seat cover is worn and needs to be replaced or re-upholstered. - 4 wheel well flares were installed and rhino lined about 4 years ago. The main goal was to cover a small surface rust repair over the driver’s side rear wheel well and in my opinion, to improve the trucks overall appearance. - Lower under pick up bed steel supports (near cab) have become detached due to rust. New steel needs to be welded in to fasten the existing 8’ bed to frame or a replacement bed of choice installed (pick up bed, stake body, dump body, etc.). The bed is totally functional as is. ** Please Note: I have not performed this under bed steel repair because I have contemplated installing a replacement aluminum (or steel) gooseneck bed to provide a much needed gooseneck hitch and replacement rear trailer hitch at the same time. ** - Meyer 750S electric tailgate salt spreader needs repair (likely needs larger wiring harness or electric motor repair/replacement). The spreader was installed new a few years ago when our area was experiencing a “bulk salt shortage” (winter of 2008-09). I made the decision to buy massive quantities of bagged salt since I could store it cleanly and within the space we had available at the time. I had this spreader installed to be a back up only. To say this spreader was used more than 6 times (by me) would be an over statement. During the off season, it was stored upside down, outside and on a pallet. When my brother bought the truck (11/2010), we attached the spreader and everything looked to be just fine. However after loading the spreader once to test it, the spreader would not turn. If so inclined, one could speak to Meyer directly about this spreader to see if can be warranted. - Small crack in the snow plow's poly skin (lower passenger side corner - near carbide wear guard). Totally functional, but a imperfection nonetheless. - CD player (only) is not functioning. Radio is fine, but CD’s will not play. - Driver’s position plastic pad atop chrome nerf bar is not properly fastened down. The pad has a small crack in it. New hardware or a replacement plastic pad is needed. - Rhino liner (bed liner) is peeling off the rear edge of bed (where end of bed meets tailgate). Here is a list of additional equipment that has been added to this F350 over the years and will be included with this sale: - Additional leaf springs professionally installed. Both front and rear leaf packs have been “improved” for better weight carrying ability. As you could imagine the ride is a bit stiffer than a stock truck, but has proven to absolutely carry weight with ease and control. - Professionally installed roof mounted light bar and 6 switch control cluster (strobe - front flood – rear flood – Flasher – Plow Light – Aux (Vibrator for salter). - Meyer CP8.5 poly snow plow with carbide edge wear guards, E-60 pump and in cab touch pad controller. - Meyer 750S Blaster electric tail gate salt spreader with extended auger, vibrator and baffle. Includes swing away tailgate mount and in cab controls (as pictured). - Ford idle control system - Tekonsha Voyager XP electric trailer brake control - Bilstein shocks - Warn manual hubs (Instead of stock Ford auto hubs – by choice) - Amsoil fluids - In-line trans filter - Fumoto oil drain valve (nice for quick and clean oil draining). - Toyo tires with nitrogen - Husky Liner floor liners - Mag-Lite flashlight (mounted to side of control cluster) - Front grill permanent jumper cable port (Includes HD jumper cables) - XM satellite radio receiver The new owner of this truck will receive many years of positive financial return on their investment. This truck has been my “baby” for the last 8 years and whoever the new owner happens to be will be very happy with their purchase. I am so confident that you will like this truck that if you feel it is not right for you (as late as time of pick up) and have a legitimate reason, don’t take it. I will release you of your purchase responsibility and relist the truck another time. As always, please feel free to contact me via email or call my cell (847)812-8100 with any questions – at any time. Please be sure to let me know if you would like to schedule a test drive. The truck is located in Arlington Heights, IL. 60005. Thank you for looking and best wishes in this NO RESERVE auction! Joe
