1966 Ford Mustang Coupe This is a nicely done, very clean and eye catching 1966 Mustang Coupe. This was originally a West Coast car built in San Jose California and sold new in Arizona where lived for most of its life. It came east about 2 years ago. This is a beautiful car in beautiful condition that has a lot of look to it. This is a very classic looking Mustang and she needs nothing but a new owner. The rust free body is in very nice condition. We were told it is original sheetmetal with no major repairs when it was restored. The car was painted back to its original code U Tahoe Turquoise about 1.5 years ago and looks nice. The chrome bumpers, emblems, and gas cap are new. The rest of the trim looks to be in nice shape as well. The remote drivers mirror is in nice condition. The weather stripping appears to be in fine shape and most likely has been replaced. The underside is original and in very nice condition. The floors, frame rails and torque boxes are original and in great shape. It even has its original undercoating. The original trim code 27 Light Aqua Crinkle and Rosette Vinyl interior is a perfect match to the exterior. The front bucket seats have been recovered and look new. The rear seat looks nice and there a new cover that came with the interior kit that is included, but not needed. The door panels are new. The armrests are new as with the chrome bases. The dash pad is new. The original AM radio works and the chrome on the radio is nice. The heater control chrome is in really nice condition and not pitted. The glove box also has an almost new appearance. The original steering wheel is in fantastic shape with no cracks. The carpet is the correct weave and looks to have been replaced. The headliner is also in nice condition. She has Air Conditioning that works fine. The trunk is detailed with a correct trunk mat, spare tire cover and bag. The 200 cid straight six runs well. It starts easy and idles nice. The C4 automatic transmission shifts smooth. She has a factory 2.83 gear ratio so it’s a fantastic highway cruiser. This Mustang features Power Steering and Manual Brakes. The suspension rides nice. She rides on Dunlop Elite white wall radial tires on factory wheels and wire caps. This Pony runs and drives well and is something you can cruise with ease. Overall, you are buying a beautiful 66 Mustang coupe finished off in a gorgeous color combo.
