Vehicle Detail
You have found a rare gem of a collector bike. The "LEGEND TT'S" were only made for a couple of years, and to find one in this condition with these extremely low miles is like hitting the jackpot. I am the original owner and purchased the bike in 2000 from South Bay Triumph in Lomita, California. The setup, R&D, and all maintenance has been done by owner Matt Capri (renowned record-setting racer, and engine builder.) This bike has a custom-made three into one exhaust system with the calibrated carb jetting kit, high flow airbox, and a hotter performance ignition module. It also has the custom-made "big wheel" conversion with a 120 up front, and a 180 in the rear mounted on aluminum wheels with stainless spokes. The bars, mirrors, turn signals, and side covers (from Thunderbird Sport) were changed to give it a more aggressive stance, and the two-section stock seat was replaced with the flat one-piece Thunderbird seat, affording the rider more flexability in riding position. Rubber boots and knee pads complete the "classic" look. The color is "Imperial Green Metallic" and is flawless, without a scratch. The chrome is perfect with no pitting and all lights and gauges are functional. No rust anywhere! This bike has never been on it's side, and has always been garaged and covered. Never ridden in the rain (although it hardly ever rains in So. California). The bike drives excellent with perfect balance and alignment, and good braking (stainless front brake line). The in-line triple motor is very strong with loads of torque and no unusual noise or leaks. The clutch is smooth with no slippage, as should be expected from a motorcycle with only 4,620 miles. This is an adult owned, meticulously maintained collector motorcycle that will only increase in value as time goes on. Here is your chance to have a part of "Triumph History". You will not find another "Legend TT" in this condition with these low miles anywhere. Research it before you bid, then you will agree. Included: Original turn signals, bars, and side covers; green "Triumph" cover; owner's manual and user guide; spare key. Please contact me to arrange for an inspection or if you have any questions.
