This professionally restored 1923 Ford Model T Runabout is owned by the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania, a non-profit Museum dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of transportation history. The car was donated to the Museum several years ago and has been used for special events and exhibited inside the Museum as part of our interpretive displays. We have several different Model Ts in the collection, allowing us to now offer this example to the highest bidder here on eBay. We have started the auction with a low opening bid and the reserve is extremely reasonable for the quality of the car. All proceeds benefit the Museum. The car is not for sale outside of eBay and the auction will not be ended early. This Model T’s VIN (engine number) is: 3396528, which corresponds to its title. According to our records this vehicle received a complete, high quality restoration, which has held up well. The car runs well and looks good both inside and out. The paint was last done in 2001. The car is not flawless. There are a few small chips here and there. The biggest is single spot on the passenger side running board and some small cracking around the radiator cap. The interior is nice and the underside is detailed. The replacement top is also of a high quality in terms of materials and workmanship. It is in excellent condition. The driver’s side curtain is with the car, stored in the trunk. Also in the trunk is a period tool box containing a vintage tire pump and assorted mechanical and electrical items typically carried as replacement parts. This is Model T is very nice and ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. It is accurately represented in this listing and the accompanying photographs, but interested parties are encouraged to ask questions and/or schedule a personal inspection. We believe everything on the car is operable, but if you want to be certain about a specific part or feature, please ask and we will double check it for you before you place your bid. This vehicle is offered as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. It has a valid Pennsylvania title which will be transferred to the new owner upon successful completion of the transaction. Shipping and transportation of the Model T will be the responsibility of the new owner. We will gladly work with you or the shipper/transporter of your choice to coordinate the move. The new owner will have two weeks from the completion of the auction to pick up the vehicle unless other arrangements are made in advance.
