I have for sale a nice 1975 BMW 2002 that runs and drives good, looks pretty nice, and only needs some minor attention. It's a San Diego, Ca car with a very straight body, just a large ding below left rear tailight is present. The body shows only very small bubbles in the paint at the bottom edge of both doors, less than a quarter in in diameter, and a couple of other spots on the car. There is no corrosion on undercarriage. The paint is a two stage silver that is about two years old. In the pictures you will see a "V" shaped scratch at the front of the hood, rest of car is good. The interior was also done about two years ago in black and white material, The seats are newer bolstered style and look very nice, along with the rear seat and door panels. The gauge cluster looks good,and the dash is good with the exception on several thin cracks across it. The headliner is very good with just a tear in it about 5 inches long on the sunroof part. The car does have a crank sunroof too! Overall the interior shows pretty nice. The engine runs good and has a high flow air cleaner and exhaust header with high flow exhaust. The transmission is a 1980's era 3 series 5 speed manual. The clutch has a new slave cylinder and engages well and the transmission shifts well. It starts quickly when warm but when cold it takes some cranking before the engine starts up. The speedometer needs a new cable as the needle sticks when you are driving. The water temp gauge needs to be hooked up. The lights work fine, but the wipers and heater blower are not working at this time. Something not too important here in warm and sunny San Diego! The car also has a Kenwood radio in the glovebox, speakers, and amp in trunk, and it works and sounds very good. The wheels are chrome 1980's 3 series style, and the previous owner liked the cool bumperless look so the car comes this way as I have no bumpers for it. Odometer shows 80,037, but I can't verify if that is actual. Overall a nice car to enjoy.
