Two-owner Alfa Romeo with only 30,000 true miles and in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The car has been well-cared over its 20 year history. Car was purchase by original owner from dealer in Florida and has lived in the Mid-Atlantic region since I purchased the vehicle in 1996. A few of the vehicle highlights include: · All vehicle mechanical repair and service records dating back to the original window sticker · All service over life of the vehicle have been performed by former US Alfa Romeo dealers and original Alfa Romeo parts have been used whenever possible · Never involved in an accident and no history of theft, title issues or odometer inconsistencies · Current PA state safety and emissions inspection certificate The car was inspected bumper-to-bumper this spring by my local Alfa mechanic as part of its annual service and several repairs were made, including replacing the throttle body pivot linkage assembly and the vehicle’s motor mounts. Since I purchased the vehicle in 1996, I have invested over $7,000 to keep this vehicle in pristine operating condition. Features · 2.0L 4 Cylinder DOHC Aluminum Alloy engine variable valve timing and Motronic fuel injection · 5 speed overdrive manual transmission · Limited slip differential · 4-wheel power disc brakes · 185/70HR tires on aluminum alloy wheels · Power windows, power mirrors · Air conditioning · AM/FM cassette stereo Comments on Vehicle Condition Mechanical: · Engine starts every time and runs smoothly at all RPM levels · Clutch was replaced by original owner at Alfa dealer in 1993 @ 12,797 miles · Pirelli tires have good remaining tread depth Interior: · Leather seats and carpet are in excellent condition for an Alfa Spider · Dashboard in excellent condition-no blemishes, cracks, fading · Air conditioning no longer produces cool air (I never use it so I don’t when / why it stopped producing cold air) · Original Alfa Clarion stereo no longer works even when security code is entered · Power window and mirrors are operational · Original owner was a smoker-some evidence of this around ash tray in center console Convertible Top: · Original top replaced with premium canvas top by former Alfa Romeo dealer in 1999-top remains in excellent condition 11 years later · Overall very tight fit when latched · Plastic window in rear is free of scratches or creases Bodywork / Undercarriage: · Original paint in good condition · Some small areas where paintwork has chipped or been scratched from normal wear and tear while driving the car-happy to provide photos upon request if you send me your email address · Very little evidence of body panel or undercarriage rust-original owner lived in Florida and I only drive the car in dry conditions in the spring and summer · Small dent in body panel above front right tire – difficult to see, could not get it to stand out in photo
