This is a Santa Fe that runs and drives very well. The car has high mileage (256175 miles) but the engine and transmission were replaced at 200k miles by the former owner, before we bought the car, and it has been properly cared for. This car has never given us any trouble except items that normally wear out and need to be replaced. There is a small area of surface rust (see the photo) at the rear wheel well. It's only surface rust and is not very noticable. This is my wife’s car. She doesn’t use it to commute, only to go shopping and it has made so many trips from our northern Arizona home to Flagstaff (200 mile trip) and Phoenix (450 mile trip) that we couldn’t begin to count them. It's a highway-miles car. It travels very well and cruises a bit too easily at 80 mph. The Santa Fe is a very popular SUV for a very good reason …it’s a truly great vehicle that does everything well. She likes to go up to Lake Powell in the summer and travel out to areas where the sand is deep. The little Santa Fe takes her there and back with All Wheel Drive, and without any fuss. My wife has found a Lexus Rx300 SUV and that will be the one that takes her to the lake next year. So the Santa Fe is for sale. Tires are in good condition, all match, BF Goodrich Light Truck tires that are quiet and very durable over rough terrain, and some of the roads up here are rough terrain! The spare is a matching tire and has never been on the road. All the electronics work, windows, alarm, remote door locks, etc. …all except two things: the cruise control, which appears to turn on but doesn’t control speed, and the gas gauge that travels from full to empty as it should but when it says empty there are still many gallons left in the tank. A/C works fine. Compressor was replaced within the last year. New struts, shocks and ball joint within the past year. There are no known issues with the car, but it is sold as-is. (You understand) We can drive the car to Flagstaff to meet the buyer for delivery. Flagstaff has an airport and is on Interstate Hwy 40. If the buyer chooses to have the car transported, we will cooperate with whatever transport company is chosen by the buyer. A $500 payment is due within 24 hours of the end-of-auction. The remaining balance can be paid with Certified Check, or Bank Wire. Buyer can choose to pay with cash upon delivery of the car.
