1949 mercury, full on custom project, most of all the hard work is done, all thats left is to finish the block sanding and paint the car your color. The car has had a chop done on the front windshield and the rest of the roof cut off and a carson removable top added. The rest of the body mods are just like those from the fifty's, frenched front and rear lights, everthing shaved, fender skirts added, and many more. The car has had bear claw latches and poppers added to the doors. The car also has power windows and power brakes. The car is rolling on its original frame with a clip added and camaro rearend. The dash is a fiberglass aftermarket that was bought for the car, it has all new VDO gauges with vintage air and painless wiring, and all the air components are their besides the lines which will have to be measured and made. The car comes with a brand new 396 big block bored 30 over, it is fresh out of the machine shop, in some of the pictures you can see no motor in the car, but the new one is in, with a turbo 400 transmission, the new pictures ive just added are of the engine bay with the new motor in the car with its high dollar headers. The car has brand new take out leather seats out of a new car. The car will make someone an amazing custom. A ton of money has already been spent on the car to get it to where its at now, so my loss is your gain cause you couldn buy a mercury and get it to this stage for what im letting this thing go for. The car is sold as is with no warrenty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of auction end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up and arrangments are made for the car to be shipped.
