Vehicle Detail
You are looking at two Jeep CJ5's. One is a 74(steel hardtop and body) and a 75(lifted w/wagon wheels). I bought these two jeeps as a project. I had planned on making one awesome jeep out of the two. Other things have gotten in the way so I have to sell them. I have added as many pics as they will let me, but there are a ton on other goodies that go with them. First the 74, It has a 304 V8, 3 speed and transfercase, all seem to work. Steel body with steel hardtop and doors, and a back hatch door. All the glass is good!! The top and doors need work, but they are all there. There is also a Bestop Softop, and doors that turn into half doors. There is no hardware for this top. The rear axle is a Dana 44 with 3:73 gears, solid axles, and the front is a Dana 35 with 3:73 gears. Both have 11inch drum brakes. The grill and front fenders have been sanded and primed inside and out. The rollbar and dash are in tact. I have driven this jeep around the yard a few times, but have dissasembled it since then. The motor sounds really good! One of the brake lines were leaking so i started taking the jeep apart with the intentions of a ground up.The 75 CJ5 has a Napa re-man 258 6cyl and rebuilt tranny and transfercase. None of this has seen the road. Motor has not been fired up since bought. There is a new clutch in the box, Skyjacker 4inch lift (springs) and heavy duty 2inch drop shackles. This jeep was being built for rock crawling when i bought it. All parts are interchangable with the 74. It has totally rebuilt 11inch drum brakes, the drums have all been turned, new wheel cylinders, pads and springs. Never seen the road. Shocks, steering stabilizer, drop pitman arm, Dana 44 in rear, with 5:38 gears, two piece axles, and a Dana 35 in front, 5:38 gears. Both axles have Lock Right traction control ratcheting gears. The wagon wheels were only wirebrushed and the primered and painted. The Denman Ground Hawgs are not to good, but they hold air and would be great for going off-road. There is a brand new Fiberglass Tub and Fenders that havent been drilled on anywhere. A new front rollbar that goes behind the front window. There is extra seats, front and rear, two hoods that are in good shape(no rust through) wiring harness, extra steel wheels, 3 radiators, one of them rebuilt, two new in box side lenses(amber), stabilizer bar and all attachments for front, neither jeep chasis is rusted through .There is also a 12volt wench, with a brush bumper in front. Tires are 35inch Hawgs. All in all there is a lot here and Im sure im leaving something out. I have several thousand in the jeeps and feel i am letting it all go for a fair price. I will not seperate these jeeps, it all goes at the same time. Just price the napa motor, tranny, transfer (rebuilt), New Fiberglass Tub and Fenders, 4 inch lift, drop pitman arm, heavy duty drop shackles, complete new brakes, Lock Right Lockers. Just the new stuff is over 4 thousand. Put it together and paint it and there is a 7 or 8 thousand dollar jeep here. Both jeeps have Clear Titles, Buyer is responsible for pick-up. Please no calls til after 5:00 pm, if no answer leave message. I will return call as soon as possible. 309-620-6145 Thanks for lookin!
