Up for sale is a 1969 Pontiac Executive Safari nine passenger Wagon. The car originated from Texas and was purchased here in Pa. twenty-five years ago. It had been in the garage until five years ago and has been sitting outside since then covered up. The car originally had Safari trim which consisted of wood grain with chrome trim around it on the side panels and tailgate. The car had some dents in it and the wood grain and trim was removed and repaired and repainted. The car was in excellent condition as far as rust goes. The underneath was rust free and just needed cleaned up and painted. All the front and rear suspension bushings were replaced along with the springs. Front brake pads and rotors and rear shoes and drums were replaced. The original 428 engine was blown up and replaced with a 400 four barrel. It has a 400 turbo hydromatic transmission [original but serviced at time of restoration ]. It is equipped for A/C but the compressor and condenser are missing. The interior is in need of some repair as you can see in the pictures. Also you can see that the floorboards are are in good shape. Also in the pictures you can see the inside doors and rocker panels. They were not patched or repaired, just sanded down and painted. The exhaust system needs to be installed. Car has not been high-way driven or inspected. Car is to be sold at $3,500.00 with payment made through PayPal only.
