Bid on this Y84 Special Edition 1979 Trans AM with 403 6.6 engine. This car is in very good condition and runs great. This car has been in my family for 20 years and has been well kept. Both body and interior are in great condition. Transmission was rebuit and shift kit was added. Interior has been well maintained over the years with good carpet, seats and headliner. Anything you see gold is original. Bezel needs to be re-conditioned but was originally gold. Orignial 8 track was replaced with a cd player years ago. The body is in great condition without rust. Paint and decals are about 10 years old and in good condition. Car has been mostly garaged kept. Engine is the original 403 6.6 and runs well. My father is the only mechanic to touch this car in 20 years and will answer any questions if needed. Tires are in good condition and the wheels are original to the car. Pics of the VIN are taken as well as the Y84 plate. Car has flowmaster exhaust and 5% new tint all around including the T-tops. T-tops are original along with original covers from GM. If you have questions please ask but please bid for a SE Y84 not a mass market car. This is a rare opportunity to own a true special edition Trans AM. Other TA's have been made to look like the speciel edition but the Y84 stamp shows this one is the real thing. The car isnt far from show ready if that is what it is purchased far. If you are buying for your personal collection and plan to drive it runs great and is street ready! If you wanted to show the car only a few things would need to be done (small crack on dash, refurbish the wheels and so forth) Mechanically it runs well and body is in very good condition.
